While we are a church of Jesus’ followers coming from a variety of religious and non-religious backgrounds, we are grateful for our affiliation with other believers.

We are a Church in the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference (also referred to as the 4C’s) where Pastor Joe is a licensed minister, has served on board of directors and is currently serving on the Church Multiplication Committee. The 4C’s “is passionate about healthy pastors, healthy churches, and healthy church multiplication. Our history is rich and our future is bright as we seek to love God, love others, and make disciples through the ministry of the local church.” Our fellowship of churches holds to the statement of faith below, which has a high view of God, the bible, and salvation but with a lot of room for differences on secondary issues.

  • We believe the Bible consisting of the Old and New Testament, to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God written.
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling power and fullness the Christian is enabled to live a godly life in this present evil world.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.

For those interested in our fellowship, these are our guiding values.

The 4C’s is a conference of congregationalist Churches, a Christian tradition that stretches back in America all the way to Mayflower settlers but has always insisted on the autonomy of local churches, even as we insist on unity on essentials and partnership in sharing the Gospel together.

We are also a part of the Convergence Church Network (CCN)

The Convergence Church Network (CCN) collaborates with like-minded leaders to promote, encourage, instruct, and support local churches committed to the convergence of Word and Spirit as a distinguishing feature of their ministry. Not a denomination, but a fellowship of like-minded churches. The goal of the CCN is to help “word-oriented” move beyond the theory into the full and viberant practice of al the spiritual gifts, such as prophecy and healing and to help “Spirit-oriented” be deeply grounded in the authority of the scriptures.
