Pete Singer completed his Master’s in Social Work from the University of Minnesota, where he also received a Certificate in Trauma-Effective Leadership. Sharing out of the expertise he’s developed over the last 30 years, he speaks nationally on trauma, trauma-informed practice, resilience, strengthening the parent-child relationship, and the role of the faith community in responding to child maltreatment. Pete is the executive director of G.R.A.C.E. (Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment.). The mission of G.R.A.C.E. is to empower Christian communities to recognize, prevent, and respond to abuse.
It is an our honor to invite Pete to share with us Sunday morning, and stay for lunch with volunteers in the Church who work with children and youth to learn how we can help children walk through their trauma, and keep them protected in the Church.
